Your Call

Oh baby! Oh baby! Your call makes me smile
The sound of your voice on the telephone makes my heart beat faster

Oh baby! Oh baby! What I would give to see you once again!
Oh baby i'll run the marathon just to hold you once again!

Oh baby! Oh baby! Wish I could sing this to you to you with a guitar in my hand..... :(

The Winds of Shire

It doesnt take much to set me off
For the path that I have trotted on
And the lanes where I spent my days
Have left me scarred and worn

The companions I had are now a distant memory
For now I wonder whether do they still remember me
Faces I remember, and more so the memories
The path though shall always be broken

When I look around the corner,
I see a lamp post,
Beneath its monochromatic light my friend you stand
Its time to bid adieu and hold you one more time
For you shall wonder whether I am gone forever....

The first one has to be dedicated to my first crush

Long long ago,.....well not that long ago, there was a boy who went by the name 'Gundu'! A product of a conservative catholic boy's school, Gundu had never before befriended a girl, except the ones who were his childhood buddies. Gundu's dad got him into a 'dashing' sunday course which would change his way of live forever (at least for some time). As a part of the course Gundu had to have his hair short and his just flowering mustache in check. He made new friends in the course and his best friend as the local barber who would cut Gundu's hair (whatever grew on his large head) short and chop-off the side-locks!

Gundu was frustrated and cursed at his dad for having spoiled his sunny sundays; for he still didnt know what was headed his way. Band practice, march-practice, et al Gundu was great at all. But then came a sunday, when Gundu's father's friend left his daughter (also a part of the course) with them to be dropped home. The bachpan ka yaar duly obliged and took Gundu and his would be first crush to CST station. Shy Gundu sat in the back seat of the taxi with the cute girl with his dad in the front seat. The girl enjoyed the rainy afternoon, for Gundu was avoiding her eye. Alas came CST station, and the kids had to get out of the car and board the local for their destination.

Dad took a window seat and the cute girl took the other. Gundu was in a mix as to where he would sit? Sitting besides dad meant looking at the girl and sitting besides her was too much of a challenge. Finally he decided to sit besides his dad. Pop corn came and went and Gundu's empty stomach got some relief for the cute girl was still offering him some more. Gundu looked away, but in that moment he looked in her eyes and there they sat looking at each other for quite a while. One, two, three, stations came and stations went, while dad was quietly asleep, the kids looked at each other with god knows what feeling, but they enjoyed the rest of the journey with all fun and cracking silly jokes.

The destination arrived and now Gundu walked a step ahead of his dad with his new friend at his side. Sadly that was the only time they met, for Gundu knows it was his first crush and it sure is fresh in his mind!
